Gershuni is Arabic language written in Aramaic Syriac letters. This type of writing occured among Aramean Syriac people in the Levant (also known as the land of Aram or Historical Syria)since the 7th century after the Arab occupation of he Levant. Gershuni was still in use until the 20th century especially among the followers of the Syriac Churches in Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.
Gershuni was the path that Arameans made into arabization. Hence, we find it the best way to go back and learn our ancestor Aramaic Syriac Alphabet and strengthen the Syriac reading talent.
